How it works
Every registry. Every work. Every finding with proof.
Here's what we check, what access we need and why, and how long societies usually take to pay.
What we check
BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, GMR
Is every song registered? Do writers, publishers and splits match across societies? Any duplicates or misspelled titles?
SOCAN
Work registrations, ISWCs, alternate titles that might route money to the wrong work.
The MLC
Are your works registered and matched to your recordings? Any unmatched usage that looks like yours?
SoundExchange
Are your recordings (ISRCs) registered, with the right featured artist and rights owner?
Your release data
ISRCs, credits and titles from your distributor, the source of truth we match everything else against.
ISRC · ISWC · IPI
Recordings to compositions to writers. One broken link is enough to stop a payment.
What access we need, and why
The least we can get away with.
Free scan: your name and email
We search public repertoire data for your works. Optional: upload exports for a sharper score.
Deep Audit: statement exports or delegated access
Society and distributor exports show full splits and unmatched items. Where a platform supports read-only or delegated access, we use that. We avoid storing passwords.
Filing: your approval, every time
Fix packets are prepared for you to file, or for us to file on your written authorization, one filing at a time.
Your data
Used only to run your audit. Encrypted, least-privilege access, and deleted on request. See the draft privacy policy.
Timelines
Free scan
Gap score and three sample findings.
Deep Audit report
AI-assisted, evidence-linked. Confirm findings before filing.
Fixes accepted
Depends on each society's processing.
Money arrives
Societies pay on lags, often one or more quarters after a fix. Not guaranteed.
The 2027 deadline
Get registered before it's distributed.
The MLC has announced that market-share distribution of remaining unmatched 2021 blanket royalties begins in April 2027. If your 2021 works aren't registered and matched by then, that money is paid out to other rights holders by market share.
